President’s Ring of Honor.
Harvey Whitney, of Gilroy, was honored as one of PepsiCo’s top sales performers worldwide with induction into the PepsiCo President’s Ring of Honor. Harvey, who has been with Frito-Lay for six years, is among the less than .25 percent of PepsiCo’s 85,000-member global sales force who wins this honor each year. PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi hosted the 10th annual President’s Ring of Honor induction ceremony on June 10 at PepsiCo headquarters in Purchase, N.Y.
Edwards Jones reps receive award
Tim Fortino and Diane Green of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Gilroy recently received the firm’s Client Service Excellence award.

Company honored for its ethics
Architectural Facades, in Gilroy, and Neighborhood Housing Service Silicon Valley, based in San Jose, recently received the first Ethics in Business Award from the San Jose Rotary Club. A panel of community leaders selected the winners from the 11 nominations received. Architectural Facades was lauded for its dedication to its employees despite tough economic times.
