Gary and Marlene LoCascio will renew their wedding vows in honor of their 50th year of marriage at Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos, at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Family and friends are invited to join the family at an anniversary reception immediately following the ceremony, at 6634 Pacheco Creek Drive, Hollister. Gary and Marlene’s children MaryJo, Carla, Brenda, Ralph, Charlet and Brian will host the reception.

HONORS

John Pedersen

John Erik Pedersen was recently recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at San Jose State University. Sigma Alpha Lambda is an organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development and lifelong professional fulfillment.

James Inouye

James Edward Inouye, of Morgan Hill, made the Seattle Pacific University 2010 winter quarter Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List have completed at least 12 credits and attained a 3.50 or higher grade point average. Founded in 1891, Seattle Pacific University is a premier Christian university that equips people to engage the culture and change the world. Its comprehensive academic program serves 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

Laura Wrede

Laura Wrede, of Gilroy, recently earned a bachelor’s degree in Bible and theology and Christian leadership at William Jessup University in Rocklin. The university is the only private residential university in the greater Sacramento region.

Wrede lives in the Bay Area with her family and owns PhotoGirlStudio.com. She is a freelance writer and photographer. Her experience as a Women’s Ministry director offers insight into the need and lives of today’s woman. Her work has been published in various publications throughout the Bay Area.
