Wednesday was a big night for Natalia Armstrong.Â
The Rams sophomore tallied a career-high 21 points and led her team to a 63-51 win over Hartnell at home. She also had three rebounds, four assists and four steals.
The Rams led 29-18 at the half and never looked back. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak.Â
Felicia Lee-Cardenas added 19 points, six rebounds, six steals—including two charges—and a block. Brittany Valdez chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, five rebounds and four assists.Â
Greer Watson posted eight points, six boards and two steals. Katrina Diaz pulled down six boards, scored four points and stole the ball three times.Â
Carrie Mansmith-Gutierrez rounded things out with a bucket, three boards and a steal.Â
Gavilan (10-13 overall, 2-5 in conference) will host De Anza at 5 p.m. Friday.

Rams hold off HartnellÂ
Gavilan held off a second half surge from Hartnell to win 80-75 Wednesday at home.
The Rams held a comfortable 48-26 lead over the Panthers at halftime, but fought to maintain it in the second. The visitors outscored Gavilan by 17 points in the second half, but their rally fell short.

The win is the Rams’ third of the season and gives them a 3-12 overall record, 2-6 in conference play.Â
Gavilan will host De Anza at 7 p.m. Friday.Â
