Four Mustangs scored in double-digits against Pajaro Valley and propelled their team to a dominant 70-34 win Wednesday at home.
Michael Kropff led the team with 17 points and Pedro Tapia was close behind with 14—including two 3-pointers.Â
Justin Soseman added 12 points for Gilroy and Kevin Azcueta chipped in with 10.Â
Gilroy led 30-23 at the half, but that’s the closest it would allow the Eagles to get for the rest of the game. The Mustangs scored 21 and 19 points in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.Â
Gilroy (4-16 overall, 3-6 in league) will host North Salinas at 7 p.m. Wednesday.Â
