CordeValle Golf Course in San Martin will host the 2016 U.S. Women's Open tournament July 7-10. The course has also hosted the 2013 U.S. Senior Women's Amatuer Championship and the PGA Tour's Frys.com Open from 2010 to 2013.

SAN MARTIN—The 71st U.S. Women’s Open is more than a year away, but the United States Golf Association released special ticket packages for the tournament Tuesday.
The tournament, which will be held July 7 to 10, 2016 at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin is the first Women’s Open ever to be held in the Bay Area. It’s expected to draw past champions the likes of Paula Creamer, Inbee Park and Michelle Wie as well as Lydia Ko, Stacy Lewis and Lexi Thompson. Former U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice will serve as the Open’s honorary chair.
“This is an exciting time for all of us involved in the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open,” CordeValle President Luca Rutigliano said in a press release. “This year’s Women’s Open in Lancaster, Pa., has received tremendous support…we believe the Bay Area will prove just as welcoming to the world’s best female golfers.”
Attendees have two ticket packages to choose from this summer. All tickets include free parking and free shuttle transportation to the admission gate.
The first, the Weekly Trophy Club Package, costs $199 and includes one individual daily ticket for all seven days—Monday through Sunday—with access to the exclusive, climate-controlled Trophy Club pavilion. The Trophy Club is located between the first tee and 18th green and will have upscale food and beverages for purchase in addition to live TV coverage of the U.S. Women’s Open. An official championship program is also included with purchase.
The second option is the Weekly Grounds Ticket Package, which can be purchased for $129. It includes one individual daily ticket for all seven days, with access to grounds and grandstands on the course. This package also includes a championship program.
NCGA members who purchase tickets at special pricing will instantly receive $1,500 in exclusive offers, including a stay-and-play package at CordeValle.
Juniors ages 17 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult throughout the week of the Open. The front row of each grandstand will be reserved for juniors.
