GILROY—Feather Haven upset HD Auto Glass Players 13-3 in Men’s Wednesday E Softball League action, leaving both teams at 4-1 at Christmas Hill Park on May 20.
Scott Wilson went 3 for 4 and Shawn Beale scored three runs to key the Feather Haven offense. Greg Lucio and Jose Vasquez singled and scored in the first inning to give the Players a brief 2-1 edge. Joel Torres pounded a solo home run for the Players in the second inning.
Cold Pop powered past Bang a Pitch 18-10 to leave both teams at 1-4.
Trailing 8-5 after four innings, Cold Pop struck for five runs in the fifth and eight in the sixth inning. John Piona capped a 4 for 4 effort with a single in the fifth and two singles in the sixth. Mark Stanley and Zach Stanley each added singles in both the fifth and sixth. Chris Del Real went 4 for 4 for Bang a Pitch.
Tuesday DD
Garlic City Computer Network moved to 5-0 by holding off Borrachos 16-12 at Las Animas Veterans Park.
Johnny Andrade’s sacrifice fly earned the Computers a 12-12 tie in the fifth inning. Marc Vegas ignited a four-run sixth for Computers with a two-run home run. Danny Melendez hit a three-run home run for Borrachos.
Team Caley snapped a four-game losing streak by trimming the Bash Brothers 9-8.
Bash Brothers struck for four runs in the top of the seventh for an 8-8 deadlock, spurred by a two-run triple from Joseph Cano. Mike Hernandez scored the game-winner for Team Caley on a Tomas Carrillo single.
Women
Unladylike reached 5-0 in Wednesday play at Las Animas with a 16-6 nod over Pops’ Gals on May 20. 
Patricia Martinez sparked the Unladylike offense by collecting a home run, double and single. Eva Neibel followed with a single, double and triple, scoring three runs. Alicia Reese and Toni Montoya each tripled and singled for Pops’ Gals.
The Dirty Diamonds defeated Just 4 Fun 16-8 as Norma Wendt and Giovana Martin each went 4 for 4 for the Dirty Diamonds (4-1). Kendra Zarachek powered a home run for Just4 Fun.
Thursday E
R&M Transport (3-1) raced to an 8-0 lead and held on to defeat Anritsu 8-4 at Christmas Hill Park.
Clay Eslick managed three hits and Nick Robinson and Chris Salter each scored two runs for the Transporters. Ruben Rodriguez hit a two-run double for Anritsu.
Golden State Bail Bonds (4-0) tripped Sons of Pitches 11-9 behind four hits from Alex Pedregan and three from Gabe Ponce. Daniel Nelson hit two home runs, Bryan Yates one for the Pitches.
No Soup 4 You defeated Trevino Brothers Construction 10-6 as Rigo Solis drove in four runs, Manny Juarez two. Matt Corona collected a double and two singles, Rob Silvia three singles for Trevino Brothers.
Thursday EE
Claddagh (4-0) scored eight runs in the first inning on the way to an 11-6 victory over New Hope Community Church at Las Animas.
Matt Jimenez lined a run-scoring double to lead the Claddagh rally. Bob Winter topped the Claddagh offense with two hits. Ray Ramos went 4 for 4 and Mario Flores and Steve Quistian each went 3 for 3 for New Hope.
VFW Bingo (1-3) stopped Ninja Sushi 22-18 as Sean Subia and Daniel Caspary each scored four runs. Tim Graves drilled four hits and scored five runs for Ninja Sushi.
Rudy Maquinalez Jr. hit two home runs as the Assassins defeated Gilroy Thunder 16-1. Nahum Zendejaz singled home the Thunder run.
