DEAR EDITOR:

After reading the comments from Brian J. Elsbree about Sunshine Bicycles, I just had to send in my comments as well. I, too, have have a wonderful experience at Sunshine Bicyles.

Around this time last year I decided to join the Leukemia and Lymphoma’s Team in Training. I trained for six months and on June 1, 2003, rode my new bike 100 miles around Lake Tahoe. At the beginning of my training I had a mountain bike.

As most cyclist know, there is a big difference riding a mountain bike and riding a road bike. When I decided to purchase a new bike I shopped around Gilroy and San Jose. However, I decided to buy locally more because of how friendly and helpful the staff was at Sunshine Bikes. Steve was so very helpful, explaining the difference between each bike and why one cost more than the other.

Since purchasing my bike, I have gone back into Sunshine Bikes many many times, and the staff there is always so very helpful and friendly. So from a cyclist, thank you Sunshine Bicycles for all of your help.

Claudia Alexander, Gilroy
