DEAR EDITOR:

In response to the letter published June 7, I was shocked, but very amused, by Mark Zappa’s tone of rhetoric.

When it comes to human life you really can’t put a price on human existence.

So I find Mark’s remarks to be cruel and quite offensive and I really believe he missed the point of my letter completely.

To tell you the truth I expected someone at CALSTAR to make a statement, but as I read his one-dimensional remarks, I realized he is just a troublemaker looking for a platform. If I offended anyone with my letter I am very sorry, but I am still stuck with a $14,000 bill.

I’m not looking for anything free and I’m far from ripping off the taxpayers! I was born and raised in Gilroy and I support anyone or anything that that helps my city. For me it is to be well-informed, and if Mark Zappa does not like freedom of speech, then he should go elsewhere!
