GILROY – The Black Bear Diner presents ‘Walk Like a Bear Day,’ a fundraiser in support of the Gilroy Relay For Life on Thursday, June 17.
Just eat at any time and give your receipt to your server. The Bear will then donate 10 percent of the receipts to the Gilroy Relay For Life. The Black Bear is located at 395 Leavesley Road.
June festival
GILROY – The Kemetic Institute, Cultural Center and Museum, 7469 Forest St., presents its second ‘Juneteenth Celebration’ on Thursday and Friday, June 17 and 18. On Thursday discover good food and music from 6 to 10 p.m. On Friday join in for the Chili Cookout Competition and judge the best chili in Gilroy from 1 to 8 p.m.

GILROY – The Gilroy Firefighters Association will host ‘Fighting for a Cure Pancake Breakfast’ on Sunday, June 20, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Christmas Hill Ranch Site.
