Jean Mary Filice

Jean M. Filice died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004. She was 76.
Mrs. Filice was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Portland Ore., and was
raised in Oakland. She attended Holy Names High School and Holy
Names College, during which she was a member of the Theresians Club
and also enjoyed modeling with her twin sister Joan Filice.

Mrs. Filice was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Portland Ore., and was raised in Oakland. She attended Holy Names High School and Holy Names College, during which she was a member of the Theresians Club and also enjoyed modeling with her twin sister Joan Filice. She married Michael P. Filice on Nov. 28, 1953. Her father-in-law co-founded and operated the Filice & Perrelli Cannery in Gilroy.

She was a member of the Santa Maria Church and an active member at Orinda Country Club for 45 years where she enjoyed playing golf. She also enjoyed playing bridge, bicycling and traveling with her family.

She is the beloved wife of deceased husband Michael P. Filice; loving mother of Nancy Ollanik and Michael Filice; devoted sister of Joan Filice; grandmother of Alyssa and Nick Roessler, and Michael and Brian Filice. She is also survived by family and friends in Gilroy.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 10:30am, Thursday, Nov. 18, at Santa Maria Church on Santa Maria Way in Orinda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, 51 Locust Ave., Suite 201, New Canaan, CT 06940.
