George worked for more than 20 years at the cannery in Gilroy and is survived by his brother Edwin (Elsie) Nunes of Los Banos and his sister Cecelia (William) Affonso of Columbia Falls, Mont.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated in his name at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gilroy. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Los Banos Cemetery District, Los Banos.
