Hartman hits homer; Luhon steals home in Dinsmore Enterprises’
4-3 win over Dr. Tong
GILROY – Dinsmore Enterprises’ sixth-inning splash of power and speed earned the major boys squad a tight 4-3 victory over Dr. Tong Orthodontics in Saturday’s Gilroy Little League action.

The power came off the bat of Michael Hartman, who slugged the game-tying homer in the sixth.

The speed came from Enterprise teammate Adrian Luhon, who worked a walk to get on base and then proceeded to steal second, third and home for the game-winning run.

Luhon, who struck out five and allowed only one run, and Hartman, who struck out six and allowed two runs, also combined for the win on the mound.

The Enterprises also received solid defensive efforts from first baseman Josh Raney, shortstop Michael Aldridge, second baseman Joe Lara, and catcher Nick Marra.

Dr. Tong Orthodontics got a pair of big hits from Matt Elston, who doubled in teammate Corey Snyder in the first inning and then homered in the fourth inning.

Pitcher Nick McFarland went six solid innings for Dr. Tong’s squad, striking out 10 batters.
