Your pictures. Your paper.

Dear Readers:
Your event
– whether it’s a Girl Scout troop finishing a community project
or grandmother’s 80th birthday – matters to us.
But we can’t send a photographer to every event. So, today we’re
launching

Community Camera.

Dear Readers:

Your event – whether it’s a Girl Scout troop finishing a community project or grandmother’s 80th birthday – matters to us.

But we can’t send a photographer to every event. So, today we’re launching “Community Camera.” If there’s an event you would like to photograph for publication in your daily community newspaper, we’ll loan you an easy-to-use digital camera.

Just come into our offices at 6400 Monterey St. in Gilroy and sign out the camera. When you bring it back, leave us the basic information about the photograph, including who’s in the picture, and we’ll take it from there.

Photographs will be published every Friday under the “Community Camera” banner in the Lifestyles section.

We look forward to your submissions and the opportunity to publish even more community photographs. Don’t hesitate to call with questions, 842-6400, ext. 270.
