Emergency workers load an elderly woman onto a stretcher after she ran a red light on westbound Leavesley Road at Monterey Street and was broadsided by a Mitsubishi Spider. The woman, a Gilroy resident, had a severely injured arm and a head injury, but was conscious. She was flown to a San Jose trauma center. The drivers of the other two vehicles were not seriously injured.
