Socorro L. Garcia died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at her residence in Ceres. She was 75.
Mrs. Garcia enjoyed reading peacefully and admiring the natural birds.
She was preceded in death by a son Daniel Garcia, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children; John Martinez, Jess Martinez and Danny Garcia, of San Jose, Loretta Martinez, Emily Garcia and Christopher Garcia, of Ceres; brother, Frank Lopez Sr. of Ceres; as well as 25 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation services were held Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home. A Rosary-Mass followed by burial services will be held on today beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in Modesto and proceeding to Lakewood Memorial Park.
