San Francisco – The Alzheimer’s Association will hold its annual “Memory Walk at Treasure Island” Sunday, Oct. 9. Registration starts at 7:30am and the walk begins at 9:30am.
Free shuttles from the Embarcadero BART station on Market Street will provide transportation to and from Treasure Island.
Participants are encouraged to make a $25 minimum donation.
Walk three miles or a take a 1.5-mile shortcut. Food, prizes, music and entertainment will be offered in the morning.
A Family Pavilion also will be featured with kids’ activities and a remembrance area to pay tribute to Alzheimer patients.
