The season may be over, but the accolades continue to roll in for Gilroy field hockey.
Four Mustangs earned postseason honors in the Blossom Valley Athletic League’s Mt. Hamilton Division which were announced Wednesday.
Senior standouts Katrina Carter and Tayler Silacci, both midfielders, earned First Team All-League honors. Both will continue their playing careers in college at the University of California-Berkeley and the University of the Pacific, respectively.
Juniors Ellie Sausen, midfield, and Ang Hays, defense, were named Second Team All-League.
Gilroy finished its season 15-3-2 overall, with all three losses coming at the hands of Archbishop Mitty. The Monarchs ended the Mustangs season in the Central Coast Section semifinals by a 2-1 decision on Nov. 19.
