Gavilan let De Anza get close in Set 1, but dominated the remaining two to win 3-0 Wednesday on the road. 
The Rams won 25-23, 25-15, 25-17, powered by Samantha Nydam’s 12 kills. She also added two aces in the game. 
Savannah Hartman racked up 12 digs and seven kills in the game, while Raelynn Heredia had 15 digs and two aces. Cheyanna Dela Merced also had two aces in addition to 15 assists. 
The win brings Gavilan to .500 on the season with a 7-7 overall record. 
The Rams will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 to host Cabrillo.
