GILROY—Christopher’s Erin Mank was a crucial part of her team’s success this season and the Mission Trail Athletic League took notice.
Mank was named co-Junior of the Year and earned First Team All-League honors for her efforts this season on Thursday. She led the Cougars with 24 goals and helped them to a 12-5-1 overall record as well as their third straight Central Coast Section playoff appearance. Mank shares the honor with Monterey’s Fionna Jensen.
Seniors Sherelle Butler and Jordan Evanger also earned First Team All-League honors. Butler scored the lone goal for Christopher in its 8-1 loss to Saratoga to open the CCS playoffs on Nov. 13 and finished with 14 this season.
Christopher’s Isabel Medina, Hannah Ronsse and Melanie Tanaka were honored with Second Team All-League nods.
Morgan England, Mariah Carpenter and senior Savannah Arnbrister all received honorable mentions.
