Seedings times and locations for the Central Coast Section’s baseball and softball playoffs are out and three local teams are three.
The CCS announced Saturday that Christopher’s baseball and softball teams as well as Gilroy’s baseball team had made the cut for this year’s playoffs.
Christopher baseball landed a first round home game as the No. 5 seed in the Division I bracket. The Cougars will host No. 11 Alvarez at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Christopher ended its regular season with a 3-2 loss to Monterey in 10 innings Thursday on the road.Â
Gilroy, who wrapped up its postseason berth with a dramatic win over Salinas on May 15, secured the No. 13 seed. The Mustangs will play at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Cruz.
The Christopher softball team, playing as the No. 9 seed, will start the playoffs at Milpitas at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Cougars lost their regular season finale 9-0 at Notre Dame Thursday.Â
