The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes this week, including aggravated sexual assault against a child, first-degree burglary and inflicting bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant. The arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter April 15 through 22. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Sex crimes against a minor
-Steven Haro, 35, April 18 at 9:23 a.m. on the 8000 block of Swanston Lane for four felony charges of aggravated sexual assault against a child and eight felony charges of lewd or lascivious acts on a child.
Domestic violence
-Victor Lopez, 27, April 17 at 1:10 a.m. on the 8200 block of Kern Avenue for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
-Joseph Estrada, 24, April 17 at 12 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
-Armandomillo Castillo, 37, April 22 at 11:47 a.m. on the 100 block of Third Street for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or cohabitant and violation of a protective order.
Burglary
-Teresa Cortez, 39, April 15 at 12:55 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for felony first-degree burglary.
Multiple charges
-Oscar Huesca, 19, April 16 at 10:47 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna and Fairview streets for possession of concentrated cannabis and petty theft.
-Kevin Orosco, 35, April 18 at 7:36 p.m. near the intersection of 10th and Rosanna streets for theft of personal property, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility and two charges of driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Fernando Perez, 38, April 18 at 11:58 a.m. on the 400 block of Lewis Street for felony possession of stolen property and four felony probation violations.
-Juan Perez, 32, April 18 at 11:58 p.m. on the 400 block of Lewis Street for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of stolen property and five felony probation violations.
-Gustavo Lugo, 26, April 20 at 5:16 a.m. on an undisclosed segment of Church Street for evading a police officer and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher

-Amelia Holguin, 51, April 16 at 3:43 p.m. near the intersection of Mantelli Avenue and Church Street for six outstanding warrants, from felony first-degree burglary to felony identity theft.
-Thomas Wood, 28, April 17 at 11:08 a.m. on the 100 block of Fourth Street for five outstanding warrants, from felony possession of marijuana or hashish for sale to possession of a switchblade in a vehicle.
-Joseph Clift, 35, April 17 at 11:58 p.m. on the 900 block of First Street for four outstanding warrants, from driving with a suspended license to possession of a controlled substance.
