Loni Parmelly and Steve Vaughn said they are proud supporters of the Gilroy Arts Alliance.

Squishy mochi atop what Gilroy-based YoghArt co-owner Steve Vaughn dubbed his preferred taste — tart frozen yogurt — helped ring in funding for a Gilroy Arts Alliance Support the Arts fundraiser.
A percentage of each sale was donated to help continue making the arts thrive in Gilroy, organizers said.
“We love having the opportunity to give back to the community in this small but yummy way,” YoghArt owner Loni Parmelly said. “The event had a great show of community support.”
YoghArt hosts a monthly fundraiser for Gilroy Arts Alliance with the next on May 1. YoghArt encourages the public to enjoy a frozen yogurt and support the arts, Parmelly said.
The April 2 fundraiser raised a total of $66 for the arts in Gilroy.
