The world premiere of a new comedy by America’s most produced playwrights will be the next presentation by Pintello Comedy Theater. And the trio of playwrights, Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten will be in the opening night audience.
The new show, “Farce of Nature,” opens May 9 and continues Friday and Saturday evenings through May 31. One matinee performance will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25. All shows are held at the Gilroy Grange Hall, 8191 Swanston Lane.
“This funny show will appeal to our whole variety of audiences, and as always, we encourage groups of friends, families and neighbors,” said producer Rod Pintello.
Audiences will laugh with (and at!) the outrageously funny Wilburn family at The Reel ’Em Inn, the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks. But can the family lodge be saved from gangsters, love-starved females, jealous husbands, ruthless executives and a cranky retired maid packing heat?
“As soon as I heard about this new play, I told Pintellos I’d clear my calendar,” said April Ouellette, who plays the frustrated wife, Wanelle.
