majoring in ethnomusicology.
Yolanda Diaz, a Pitzer College senior from Morgan Hill majoring
in race and gender.

Ten Pitzer students have won Fulbrights in the past six years.
The Fulbright Fellowships, an excellent opportunity for personal development and international experience, provide funding for a year to study and research abroad.
The program was sponsored by Sen. J. William Fulbright in 1946 as a way to build an alternative to armed conflict by providing participants an opportunity to observe political, economic and cultural institutions around the world. The program has provided more than 234,000 fellowships to those chosen for their leadership potential.
