Gilroy High field hockey added to its growing list of players to
receive athletic scholarships to compete at the collegiate level
this past weekend, when senior Jennifer Rose accepted an offer to
play for and attend Cal-Berkeley next year.
INDIO, CALIF. – Gilroy High field hockey added to its growing list of players to receive athletic scholarships to compete at the collegiate level this past weekend, when senior Jennifer Rose accepted an offer to play for and attend Cal-Berkeley next year.
She received the offer while competing at the National Field Hockey Festival held in Indio, Calif.
Rose will join fellow Mustang Laura Spellman, who gave a verbal agreement in November to play for the Golden Bears next year, as well as 2006 GHS graduate Erin Magill, who will be a junior on Cal’s team next season.
