after two unknown suspects robbed him about 12:31 a.m.

An 18-year-old man was struck in the head with a blunt object after two unknown suspects robbed him about 12:31 a.m. Wednesday.
The teen was near Sixth and Dowdy streets when the two suspects made statements that suggests they are gang members, police said. The suspects demanded the victim relinquish his property, to which he complied, police said. The victim is not believed to be gang affiliated.
The teen was taken to a regional trauma center. Police are investigating the incident.
