Four Gilroy High School Students attended a prestigious conference in Sacramento known as Boys’ State.

This week-long program is sponsored by the American Legion to create better citizens by making the teens aware of their responsibilities and obligations in the operation of good government. Junior students are chosen on the basis of scholarship, character, citizenship and

leadership.

Only four boys from Gilroy High and 950 boys from throughout the state were invited.
