Reckless driving
Giao Tuong Nguyen, 34, of San Jose, 5:23 p.m. Nov. 17, near Highway 87 and Capitol Avenue in San Jose after tailgating a motorcyclist and forcing the motorcyclist out of a lane.

Auto burglary
A $200 GPS unit, baby clothes and a piggy bank were stolen from a 2006 black Mercedes, between 6 p.m. Thursday and 12:45 p.m. Friday, on the 10300 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard. The window of the car was smashed.
A $400 black leather Coach purse and miscellaneous items were stolen from a red Honda Odyssey, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday, near North and Lincoln in San Martin. The window of the van was broken.
Petty theft
A license plate was stolen from a 1987 black Jeep and replaced with another plate, 8:30 a.m. Thursday, near Tennant Avenue and Murphy Avenue in Morgan Hill. The stolen plate is still missing.
Burglary
About $500 worth of tools and a $10 half-gallon bottle of wine were stolen from a porch, between 6 p.m. Nov. 18 and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, on the 13800 block of Llagas Avenue in San Martin.
Grand theft
A water well pump worth $2,500 was stolen from a residence, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nov. 18, on the 13900 block of Murphy Avenue in San Martin.
A 2003 white Haulmark trailer containing about $10,000 in tools, was stolen, between 11 p.m. Nov. 17 and 4:30 a.m. Nov. 18, from the 1400 block of Church Avenue in San Martin.
Stolen license plate
Two license plates were stolen from a 2001 black Toyota Corolla, between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15 and 8 a.m. Nov. 16, on the 14000 block of Monterey Road in San Martin.
Criminal threats
A San Martin man received text messages threatening to kill him, 4:39 p.m. Nov. 16.
Identity theft
A Gilroy woman’s identity was compromised when someone used Yahoo letterhead in an email to obtain her personal information and use that information to request money from people on the woman’s contact list, between 6:28 a.m. Nov. 15 and 8 a.m. Nov. 17.
