Blackout Window Tinting opened the second half of the Men’s CC League softball schedule by edging the VFW Vets 8-7 Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Frank Subia doubled and scored on a one-out Jeff Wong single in the bottom of the seventh inning to secure the win for the Tinters.

The VFW Vets, first-half D champion, pushed across four runs in the sixth inning, keyed by a two-run Joe Cano triple. Frankie Martinez provided a pair of RBI-singles for the Vets. Chris Wong and Danny Rubio each went 3-for-3 for Blackout.

Eddie Vargas powered two three-run home runs to help Harvey’s Body Shop past Platinum Roofing Slammers 14-1.

Alex Rodriguez and Greg Lugo each went 3-for-4 for the winners. Val Casillas went 2-for-3 and scored the Slammer run.

Chrissy Ivory stroked three singles Wednesday as Ms. BeHaving topped Goldsmith 14-8 in Women’s League action at Las Animas Park.

Stacey Schaffer scored three runs for the winners. Nicole Villarreal paced Goldsmith with three hits.

Laura Vargas hit a grand slam and a solo shot as Draeger Construction defeated Kay’s Kids-RSW Racing 27-2. Angelica Garcia homered in a 5-for-5 performance for the Builders. Mary Volz went 2-for-2 for Kay’s-RSW.

Carissa Kozachek went 6-for-6 to key a 35-9 Mean Girlz win over Garza Sisters & Friends. Cynthia Garza went 2-for-2 and scored three Sister runs.

Wicked trimmed the Loco Boys 9-8 in Men’s DD play Tuesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Joel Perez lined three doubles and Brian Fialkosky added three singles to the Wicked surge. Adam DeLeon hit a triple and two singles for the Loco Boys.

The Titans defeated Claddagh Brew Crew 19-8 behind a home run, double and single from Jerry Zimmerman. Jim Reimer and David Rose each went 4-for-4 for the Titans. Scott Shipper hit a two-run homer for Claddagh.

Dave DeCarlo stroked a triple, double and two singles as Feather Haven outlasted Trevino Brothers Construction 18-2. Jessie Nunez went 5-for-5 for Feather Haven, Matt Corona 3-for-4 for Trevino Brothers.
