UPDATE: Police looking for owner of recovered jewelry

The Gilroy Police Department was contacted at 5:12 p.m. Saturday by a citizen who located multiple pieces of jewelry, along with a broken jewelry box stashed in a black computer case near the bridge on the 9000 block of Church Street. 

According to an email sent Monday morning GPD Sgt. Chad Gallacinao, the owner of the jewelry has recently been identified.
