Dear Editor,
I believe that your editorial staff used poor judgment when
placing the article regarding John Patterson, along with his
picture, on the front page of your newspaper last Saturday.
Coach Patterson has merely been accused of a crime; no charges
have been filed against him.

While The Times may have reported the facts accurately, would it not be fair to wait until after the police have investigated and decided whether or not to file charges?
All The Times has managed to do, at this point, is stain this man’s name and reputation. I am very disappointed to see The Times lower itself to such tabloid journalism.
