A mix of professionals and amateurs the sponsor exemptions lists includes the world’s No. 1-ranked amateur Patrick Cantlay; Live Oak High graduate John Ellis, who tied for 24th at last year’s Frys.com Open; 2002 PGA Champion Rich Beem; Canadian, Adam Hadwin, who finished fourth in the 2011 RBC Canadian Open; Patrick Reed who led Augusta State to the last two NCAA Championships; Kevin Tway, a three-time All American at Oklahoma State and son of 1986 PGA Champion Bob Tway; two-time PGA TOUR winner Rod Pampling and three-time first-team Golfweek All-American during his three years at Alabama.

The final field for the 2011 Frys.com Open is nearly set with the remaining players coming from the Monday Qualifier. The Monday Qualifier, played at Bayonet Golf Course, has a total of 78 players all vying for the last four spots in the Frys.com Open field.

PGA TOUR members had until 5 p.m. EDT on Friday, September 30, to commit to play in the Frys.com Open. Eligible players were assigned one of 38 PGA TOUR priority rankings based on past performances on the PGA TOUR.
