Emma Mary Martinez was born in San Pedro, CA. She was a 65 year resident of Morgan Hill and passed away at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Martinez, daughter Margaret Herd and son Emilio Martinez. Emma is survived my her daughter, Maria Martinez, her sons Lawrence (Linda) Martinez, David (Bevon) Martinez and daughter-in-law Norma Martinez, 12 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Emma was a world traveler and supporter of the arts, often with her dear friend Carrie Gose. She was a phenomenal cook and known by all for her spectacular dishes.
The Rosary and Vigil will be held on November 25th, 2011, at 7:00 P.M., Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill. The Memorial Mass will take place on November 26th, 2011, at 2:00 P.M., St. Catherine Church, 17400 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill. A reception will follow at Crossroads Christian Center, 145 Wright Ave., Morgan Hill, CA.
