On Tuesday, Dec. 13 starting at 11pm in the Coyote Lake launch area, viewers can see up to 60 “shooting stars” per hour at the shower’s midnight peak.

Saturn, the moon and other heavenly bodies will be visible through the park’s 10-inch reflecting telescope.

Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided. Bring a flashlight, binoculars, warm clothing and an outdoor chair. There is a $5 vehicle entrance fee.
