A big time fourth quarter propelled the CHS girls basketball team past Pajaro Valley 40-35 on Wednesday night.
The Cougars trailed 32-26 entering the final period before outscoring PV 14-3 down the stretch.
Merrett Brown posted 13 points, Hanna Tabron had 11, Haylee Peterson six and Mari Rodriguez five.
