Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Harlan Warthen has joined the company as a sales associate in its Morgan Hill office. In his new position, he will specialize in residential sales in Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, Warthen spent more than 30 years in executive sales management positions in the insurance industry and has owned several local companies. Community Solutions program recognized
Community Solutions received recognition for their internship program and dedicated staff members from San Jose State University’s School of Social Work. Community Solutions received the Outstanding Agency of the Year. This award is given to an agency that demonstrates commitment to guiding students and engaging them in a hands-on, educational experience. Emma Lucas received the 2010-2011 Field Instructor of the Year award and intern Erica Elliott received recognition for her outstanding MSW community project. For her community project, Elliott held a screening of “The Dark Side of Chocolate” to raise awareness of the issue of human trafficking and fair trade goods.
