Health Insurance Goes Up, Up, Up and So Do the Salaries of the CEOs
Dear Editor,
Every year health insurance costs go up, up, up and benefits go down, down, down. Every year we hear the the CEO’s of the insurance companies are being awarded bonuses with numbers so large that they do not have names. Politicians talk about morality of law when it comes to hot button issues. Here’s a morality question: Is it moral to allow individuals to profit from the sickness of those they serve?

An Example of a Severe Case of Liberal Myopic Degenerative Disorder
Dear Editor,
Alas, I knew it would happen, but from what I’ve just read (letter 6/15) Daniel Garcia has a far more severe case of LMDD (Liberal Myopic Degenerative Disorder) than I suspected.
Symptoms of Garcia’s LMDD include his statements of shear fantasy like crushing Republicans “once and for all…”, giving Jimmy Carter any credence, believing that the Democrats are a party that “is united and firm” and hoping that if liberals all stand around with their heads buried in the sand, everything in America will be fine and dandy.
Look at some others in the news that have even worse cases of LMDD: Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Jack Murtha. Daniel, I strongly suggest that you make an appointment to visit a good shrink. Maybe with time and staying away from writing silly letters to the editor, your LMDD can be controlled. I know it will be hard, but good liberals are always flexible to change – right?
