Sophomore Allison Foster won the varsity 300-meter hurdles in 47.63 seconds to lead Christopher High’s girls track and field team to a third-place finish in its own Garlic Classic on Saturday at Gilroy High.

Foster also took second in the 100 hurdles in 16.08, second in the long jump at 15 feet, 9 1/2 inches, and third in the triple jump at 33-8.

Christopher’s girls finished third with 51 points, as San Benito won with 74 and Piedmont Hills took second with 70.

The Cougars’ varsity girls 400 relay team comprised of Carlene McPolin, Cydney Caradonna, Vanessa Koontz and Olivia Baxter won in 51.88.

For Christopher’s boys, sophomore Jordan Rodriquez won the frosh/soph 200 in 23.96, and was second in the frosh/soph 100 in 11.79.
