The Santa Clara County Open Space Authority is planning for the 348-acre Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, one of its newest acquisitions. The preserve is located at the west end of Kalana Avenue with spectacular views, rural character and large acreages of private agricultural and range lands surrounding it.
For those interested in helping to plan the preserve’s future, the Open Space Authority is hosting a workshop today from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ann Sobrato High School library, located at 401 Burnett Ave. in Morgan Hill.
The Authority aims to establish the preserve as a unique amenity that will maintain on-going conservation grazing operations while providing new opportunities for public recreation, resource protection, environmental interpretation and where appropriate agriculture.
