Hanna Tabron poured in 23 points to help Christopher’s girls basketball team open Monterey Bay League play with a 52-43 home win over North Salinas on Thursday night.
Olivia Tabron added 10 points and Cydney Caradonna scored nine for the Cougars, who improved to 6-3 overall.
Nicole Hermosillo-Wright led the Vikings with 10 points, and teammate Darjhian Tennant added nine points.
