Two men pointed a gun at a 32-year-old woman in the parking lot of Home Goods on Renz Lane at 7 p.m. June 29 and fled on foot with her purse, according to a press release from the Gilroy Police Department. Authorities say the suspects have not been caught.Â
The woman was nearing her vehicle with her children when two men approached her. One suspect, a white male in his early 20s, pulled out a revolver and demanded her purse and car keys. The other suspect, another white male in his 20s, stood behind him as a lookout, according to reports from the GPD.
A witness chased the suspects through the parking lot, but eventually lost sight of them. Police arrived within minutes of the incident but could not locate the alleged robbers.Â
No injuries were reported.Â
One suspect was described by witnesses as being 6-feet-tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with short, light-colored hair and an “unknown tattoo” on the inner right forearm. He wore a black tank top and held a revolver. The other suspect was also about 6-feet-tall, 160 pounds with blond hair. He wore a white tank top.Â
