ANNIVERSARY: Millers celebrate 40 years
Bradley and Gwendolyn Miller, of Hollister, were married on July 7, 1973 and will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday.
The couple has three children, Amy Neff (San Jose), Paul Miller (Hollister) and Lori Freeman (Eureka, Nev.) and eight grandchildren.
ENGAGEMENT
McDonald/Barnes
Kelly Lyn McDonald and Christopher Barnes are engaged to be married.
Kelly, daughter of Billy and DeeDee McDonald, attended Live Oak High School, SFSU and is an office manager at McDonald Concrete.
Christopher, son of Jack and Isabelle Evans, attended Mission Viejo, Concordia University and is in construction materials sales.
The couple will wed July 12 in Santa Cruz.
HONORS
Mary Medeiros
Mary Medeiros, of Hollister, was named to the dean’s honors list for the 2013 winter and spring quarters at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
In accordance with the Santa Cruz Academic Senate regulations, students qualify for the dean’s honors list for a given term when they have completed a minimum of 15 units of which 10 are units for letter grade with a grade point average in the range required for university honors at graduation for the current academic year. The current GPA requirement is that equal to or greater than 3.65.
Sara Henderson
Sara Henderson, of Gilroy, received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, and a bachelor’s degree in applied physiology and sport management during the May 2013 Southern Methodist University commencement ceremony.
SMU is a nationally ranked private university in Dallas founded 100 years ago.
Michelle Sisto
Michelle Sisto, of Morgan Hill, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at Loyola Marymount University. Students named to the dean’s list have completed 15 semester hours at LMU and earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better.
Located between the Pacific Ocean and downtown Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University is a comprehensive university offering 60 major programs, 36 master’s degrees and a doctoral degree in education from four colleges, two schools and Loyola Law School.
Andrew Batinovich
Andrew Batinovich, of San Martin, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.

Clayton Eslick, of Gilroy, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

Emma Northcott
Emma Northcott, from Morgan Hill, was named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Wake Forest University. Students who achieve a 3.4 and no grade below a C were named to the list.
Samantha Giordano
Samantha Giordano, a 2009 graduate of Ann Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
