A 47-year-old Gilroy man is wanted for felony domestic violence and false imprisonment, according to a report from the Morgan Hill Police Department.
Authorities say George Pye fled around 8:15 a.m. today, Monday, from the Extended Stay Hotel on Condit Road behind Walmart in Morgan Hill after he allegedly beat his girlfriend and held her against her will for most of the night in the hotel room.
The girlfriend suffered extensive bruising and cuts to most of her face, according to police, who say Pye is originally from Gilroy and “is known to go from hotel to hotel.”
Pye is described as a white male measuring 5 feet, 8 inches and weighing 170 pounds.
