Winifred L. Silveira, a Gilroy resident for the past 56 years, passed away February 28, 2009 at the age of 99. She is survived by her children Jackie Seimas, Joleen (Floyd) Silva, and Joe (Kathy) Silveira, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Winifred was preceded in death by her husbands Joe Silveira and Lawrence Frontella as well as her granddaughter Lori.
A visitation will begin 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 4 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, followed by a Rosary and Mass at 4:30P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Gilroy. Burial 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
