Tourism partnership
Jane Howard, Executive Director of the Gilroy Visitors Bureau, represented the South Santa Clara Valley Tourism Partnership (SSCVTP) at the media reception at the California Travel and Tourism Commission (CTTC) in Los Angeles April 21. At this reception, press packets were distributed that included information about the area.
“Gilroy and Morgan Hill have so much to offer a visitor to this area,” Howard said. “Our goal is to publicize our regional destination directly to consumer and travel trade editors and writers plus qualified freelance writers in the Los Angeles area.”
Hospital partners with Web sites
Saint Louise Regional Hospital Foundation recently registered with GoodSearch.com and GoodShop.com, giving its supporters a chance to raise money for the cause every times they search the Internet of shop online.
Goodsearch.com donates 50 percent of its revenue, approximately a penny per search, to the charities designated by its users, and through GoodShop.com, up to 37 percent of the purchase price is donated to the user’s favorite cause.
