Aiden Scott Grissom enjoys presents as much as any other kid. But on his eighth birthday recently he asked that his his friends not bring him a birthday gift. Instead he asked that donations be made to Rebekah Children’s Services. With the funds contributed, children Aiden’s age residing at Rebekah Children’s Services will go out for a movie night. Aiden, a Las Animas School student, said he thought of the idea when he saw a program on television about children who are in similar organizations similar to Rebekah. He asked his mother, Dolores, to look on the internet to find a Gilroy agency he could donate to, and she found Rebekah Children’s Services.
