Missing juvenile

A juvenile on Fairview Drive was reported missing, 6 p.m. April 8.

A 15-year-old female on Holloway Road was reported missing, 12:02 a.m. April 9.

Two female juveniles fled from their home on Adams Court after their mother caught them smoking marijuana, 9:12 p.m. Saturday.

A 15-year-old female on Holloway Road was reported missing, 3:17 a.m. Sunday.

A juvenile ran away from Rebekah’s Children’s Services on IOOF Avenue, 11:24 a.m. Sunday.

Residential burglary

A burglar or burglars entered an apartment on the 7100 block of Eigleberry Street and stole a diamond stud earing valued at $150, $450 in cash and an electric alarm clock valued at $140, between 12:30 and 1:45 p.m. April 9.

A burglar or burglars broke a garage window on Hoesch Way and stole seven cans of 12 ounce Miller beer, between 9 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Child abuse

California Protective Services took a 1-month-old and a 1-year-old from a residence on Eighth Street after their 2-year-old sibling was taken to Oakland Children’s Hospital with a fractured skull, 2:56 p.m. April 9.

Petty shoplifting

A black woman took a pair of purple Aldo flats shoes valued at $25 without paying from a store on Leavesley Road, 5:07 p.m. April 9.

Fraud

A thief used a Welburn Avenue resident’s canceled ATM card to make more than $2,741 in purchases over the last two months.

Grand theft

A thief or thieves stole three bales of cardboard from Camino Arroyo, 5:40 p.m. Friday.

Petty theft

A thief stole a woman’s purse on Arroyo Circle, 6:18 p.m. Friday. The purse contained a $200 Nikon digital camera, $30 in cash and 5 Euros.

Vandalism

A vandal or vandals keyed a vehicle on Monterey and Seventh streets, 11:48 p.m. Friday.

A vandal or vandals broke a driver’s side car window on Third Street, between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 5:10 a.m. Sunday.

A vandal or vandals damaged a 5-year-old tree on Maple Street, 8 a.m. April 7.

Graffiti

A vandal or vandals tagged the bench at Christmas Hill Park, 11:04 p.m. Friday.

Hit and run

A 2002 white Mercery and a 2000 red Chevrolet were involved in a crash on El Cerrito Way, 6:39 a.m. Saturday.

Commercial burglary

A burglar or burglars pried an unspecified number of 25-cent coin boxes from laundry machines on Kelton Drive, between 1 and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, causing $2,000 in damages to a washer and a dryer.

Road laws

A 1993 red Honda Civic was impounded on Monterey and Old Gilroy streets, 11 a.m. Sunday.

Stolen vehicle

A 1997 red GMC was stolen from Fairview Drive, 12:26 p.m. Sunday.

A 2005 gray Honda Civic with license plate no. 5MHX130 and a dent on front right bumper was stolen from First Street and Wren Avenue, between 5 p.m. Friday and 2:26 p.m. Sunday.

Assault

An unidentified person was involved in a physical altercation at Las Animas Park, 6:21 p.m. Sunday. The suspect left the area driving through the park and out onto Wayland Avenue. The victim attempted to stop the vehicle but was was struck by the vehicle in the process.

Found property

An unidentified person found a woman’s purse containing a key, and iPod and other miscellaneous items near Miller Avenue and Uvas Park Drive, 6:21 p.m. Sunday.

An unidentified person turned in a small amount of money found on a sidewalk on Fifth and Princevalle streets, 9:31 p.m. Sunday.

Vehicle tampering

Someone tampered with a vehicle on First Street, 7 p.m. April 8.
