James Harold Taylor

James H. Taylor passed away Tuesday afternoon at the age of 82. Born in Stigler, OK and had live in San Juan Bautista since he was 8 years old. He has been a local farmer and mechanic for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. Member of the San Juan V.F.W. and San Juan Farm Bureau. His hobbies were building engines for cars and building radio controlled airplanes.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of San Juan, daughter, Anne Taylor of San Jose and son Gary Taylor, wife, Sheri, of Hollister, grandson, Michael Taylor of Morgan Hill and granddaughter, Brooke Taylor of Fresno. He was predeceased by his late son, Bruce Taylor in 1989.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5th at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister. Graveside services and burial will follow at San Juan District Cemetery. Friends may also visit at the funeral home on Monday from Noon-6:00 P.M. and Tuesday morning after 9:00 A.M. Contributions are preferred to Hospice or the San Juan V.F.W.
