Born to Gavino and Martha Machado in Hollister, CA , Gloria passed away on September 14, 2009, at the age of 84.
She is predeceased by her husband Americo Govea and her son Henry Ruiz. She is survived by her son Ventura Ruiz, Jr., daughters Gloria Zamora, Valerie Jimenez, America Govea, Adele Martinez, Sylvia Esparza, 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services will begin with Vigil on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 7:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Funeral Homes Chapel of the Oaks. A funeral service will be Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Hill’s Chapel of Roses, Burial to follow at Oak Hills Memorial Park.
