Wow, nothing has changed – unions are out for themselves and our taxpayer dollars.
I’m in the private sector and believe me, we don’t get anywhere near these benefits our loyal public servants demand. I’ve seen $20,000 employees get laid off in the past two years in my company and raises have been reduced/frozen across the board. That said, I’m sure our local Democrats will give them what they (and other public unions) want in return for their votes. Volunteer fire department anyone?
